Raquel’s practice is driven by her desire to help people. She focuses on vigorously advocating for families through extremely difficult times in their lives. Raquel cares deeply about each and every client and believes in transparency and frequent communication.

Raquel was born and raised in South Florida and earned her bachelor’s degree in political science and psychology from Florida State University. While pursuing her undergraduate degree, Raquel served as lead attorney on the Florida State Mock Trial team. Upon graduation, she taught English at an elementary school in Seville, Spain and volunteered with the African Refugee Development Center in Tel Aviv, Israel. Both experiences fueled Raquel’s passion to attend law school and fight for justice on behalf of others.

She received her law degree from the Emory University School of Law where she enjoyed being part of the Evans Moot Court team and serving as President of the Emory Public Interest Committee. While in law school, Raquel worked at a law firm that specialized in civil litigation and interned with the United States Attorney’s Office which reinforced her commitment to public service. She also served as a law clerk for a Fulton Superior Court Judge.

Raquel lives in Marietta with her husband, Jason, and chihuahua, Stevie. When she is not advocating for her clients, she enjoys volunteering in the community, listening to live music, traveling, and cooking.
